February is American Heart Month. Heart disease is the #1 killer in the US, claiming more lives than all cancers combined. Follow the 2 tips below to aid you on your path toward better heart health!

  • Be Active (try exercising 30 minutes a day for 5 days/week! You can even split them up in 10 minute increments!)

  • Maintain a Healthy Diet. Include a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein sources (poultry, seafood, nuts, seeds, beans, peas). Try limiting foods & beverages high in fat, sugar and sodium. Limiting salt or sodium in your diet can also lower your blood pressure.

Olive came to us with a fever and irritability. She spent most of the day crying so mom decided to bring her in. A few hours after her adjustment she was starting to smile again and have more energy. By the next morning she was completely better and was back to her happy self!
